UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs’ ACCESS Magazine (one of the most widely read publications on transportation research) was named Organization of the Year by the California Transportation Foundation.

Out of 118 nominations, ACCESS was recognized for representing “the best of the projects, programs and people who made a positive difference for California transportation in 2012.”

ACCESS translates academic research into readable prose for policymakers and practitioners alike. A couple interesting articles from the current issue include “New Automobile Regulations: Double the Fuel Economy, Half the CO2 Emissions, and Even Automakers Like It” and “When Do Slower Roads Provide Faster Travel?

You can get a free online subscription to ACCESS at the UC Transportation Center website.
