UCLA Transportation is pleased to release the UCLA Bicycle Master Plan Implementation Progress Report.
The UCLA Bicycle Master Plan adopted goals, objectives, and recommendations in order to improve and encourage cycling around UCLA. The Implementation Progress Report evaluates the goals and objectives based on performance measures adopted in the Plan. The Report also bears to light what recommendations have been implemented, revised and updated.
Seven years since the adoption of the UCLA Bicycle Master Plan, UCLA has made great strides to improve cycling – bike ridership has grown significantly, UCLA installed its first green bike lane and bike box and UCLA will install the first automated bike counter in Los Angeles in Fall 2013.
