Spread the joy of giving by supporting green commuting nonprofits this holiday season!

LACBC (Los Angeles County Bike Coalition) is a nonprofit organization that engages its members through advocacy, education, and outreach since 1998. LACBC has been seeking various ways to make Los Angeles a bike-friendly and safe environment for the the bicycling communities around the city. You can read more about their missions and donate to support their programs here. All monetary donations are tax deductible.

If you are thinking of getting a new bike this holiday season, consider donating your used bike to Bici Libre! Bici Libre is a bike co-op project of LACBC. It provides a community bike workshop space that teaches people how to fix their own bikes. They are always looking for volunteers, so this is a great opportunity if you’d like to get involved! You never know when your bike repair skills will come in handy.

Since October 2010, CicLAvia has been connecting communities in Los Angeles and making streets available for people to explore the city by walking, bicycling, running and skateboarding. The objective of the event is to encourage the use of healthy transportation options. You are welcome to donate and support CicLAvia’s future events.
