Snapshot of the flier for the new Grocery Shuttle Service, operated in partnership by UCLA Housing Services and the folks at UCLA BruinBus. Click on the photo for the complete schedule.

Starting Saturday morning, on-campus students will be able to take advantage of a new “shopper hopper” designed to transport them between the Hill and Ralph’s in Westwood Village.

Funded by UCLA Housing & Hospitality Services, the inaugural run of the BruinBus Grocery Shuttle will operate between 10 and 1PM on Saturday morning. The service will be provided throughout the academic school year with a few exceptions (such as days off for Thanksgiving and the Cesar Chavez Holiday in March).

Sixteen-seat BruinBus shuttles will pick up passengers from the Hedrick Hall and DeNeve Hall turnarounds.

The first run starts its journey at the top of the Hill at 10AM; the last run departs the Hill at 12PM. Note: the last BruinBus is scheduled to depart from Ralphs at 12:30PM, so keep a close eye on your watches, students! (Although I must note, it is not the end of the world — just a long walk back to your dorm…)

Yours truly will be there to take pictures and ask students how it went!
