chevyboltGeneral Motors and Chevrolet recently released the first wave of new Chevy Bolt EV’s in the states of California, Oregon, Maryland, Virginia, and Massachusetts.

Marketed as a small crossover, the new Chevy Bolt comes equipped with the interior space and footprint of a subcompact vehicle, all of which is valued at the price of $30,000, after the $7,500 federal tax credit offered on all electric vehicles.

With an impressive mile range of 238 miles, the Chevy Bolt is the most affordable EV model to date, compared to the $70,000 price tag on all-electric Tesla models.
