ladot2We understand vanpools aren't for everyone. Some people need more flexibility in their schedule. Like Jeff. But if one shoe doesn't fit, we've got more for you to try on! UCLA Transportation offers several options for commuters who don't want to drive to campus and pay for parking, and we're glad Jeff was able to find one that fit him perfectly. If you've got questions about commute options that match your needs, don't hesitate to ask. And thanks for sharing your #UCLARideshare story, Jeff!

I had tried vanpools and also drove for many years. I realized it was possible to take the Commuter Express literally from my door in the Conejo Valley to UCLA. The service is very nice, and time is spent computing, reading and resting. The process also has the side effect of saving hundreds of dollars on gas, insurance and repairs. Additionally, it does not require me to pay for parking. Unlike the vanpool, it offers much more flexibility on arrival and departure. I wish I had begun to ride sooner in my employment.
