I love my car.
I also love to be able to listen to music while I drive.
But, high prices of gasoline made me think twice about my commute to UCLA.
I live 40 miles away from campus and I found out that by using public transit I get to save money without spending much more time to get to and from work. With Los Angeles metropolitan area traffic, driving alone and using public transit, there is not much difference on the time it takes to get from point A to point B, all you need to do is plan your trip and you can do wonders, this is why I have cancelled my UCLA parking permit(another money saver) since I used it only twice in the last month, it did not make much sense to keep paying the monthly permit.
