On Friday, President Barack Obama will be back in Los Angeles, reports the Daily News ("Motorists take note: Obama returns to LA").

President Obama will be returning to campaign for Democratic candidates. He is scheduled to be in the LA metro area on Friday morning and afternoon, first at a fundraiser for Senator Barbara Boxer (D) and then at a 10AM talk at USC.

Councilman Bill Rosendahl told the Daily News that he has been in correspondence with the Obama Administration regarding this upcoming visit, and that he does not want a repeat of the paralyzation of LA's transportation network that occurred in August.

Be A Green Commuter will convey more specifics if/when they materialize, but recommends tuning into other news outlets like the hyper local blog LAist or (gasp) the traditional TV news outlets for the most up-to-date information.
