- Transit pre-tax benefits extended through 2011. Thanks to lobbying by transit advocacy organizations, transit commuters will be able to pay transportation commute expenses with pre-tax dollars up to $230 -- the same level as drive-alone commuters for parking.
- Ph.D student Rach Stevenson observed that the bike lane on the westbound direction of Ohio, just west of Sepulveda, has been relocated outside of the gutter. Damien at LA Streetsblog explained that this was a byproduct of the I-405 Freeway widening project, which is co-managed by Metro and CalTrans.
