By now you may have heard a little about LA/2B, but maybe you aren't quite sure what it is or how to participate.
LA/2B is a project of the Los Angeles Departments of City Planning and Transportation to envision a new way of moving around the city, using its streets for mobility and beyond. Do you ever sit in traffic and think, "If I were in charge, I'd make more bike lanes and I'd cycle to work!" Or maybe even, "What would L.A. be like if a monorail ran through the city?" Now is your chance to share your ideas and help shape the future of mobility in Los Angeles!
Go to Ideas.LA2B.org and submit your ideas online. Every few weeks, a new set of topics will be presented to share your thoughts on. At the time of this blog post, a few of the ideas shared by Angelenos included signal priority for buses, bike share programs, and revamping pedestrian crossing patterns. If genius isn't striking you right at this moment, head on over anyway to see others' suggestions. You can second any ideas that sound great to you or comment and join the ongoing discussion.
