Getting Around LA Without a Car

A coalition of undergraduate and graduate student leaders and clubs, along with our department, are organizing a workshop entitled "Getting Around LA Without a Car: The Basics of Biking, Riding Transit + Other Alternative Transportation".

Date: Wednesday, November 10th

Time: 5PM-7PM

Location: School of Public Affairs Room 2232

From their announcement:

Do you feel stuck in the Westwood bubble?
Do you not own a car at UCLA?
...--but got places to go?

Join us as we engage and explore different ways to get in and around Los Angeles--yes, without a car! Learn about how to access transit, purchase passes, commuter options, and take certain routes to different areas in the vast city of LA. Presentations by different student groups and UCLA Transportation will give you a better idea of how it's all possible, while being a sustainable traveler too!

Refreshments and raffle prizes will be available!

Please contact Malina Tran (malina.tran at ucla.edu) or
