Fall quarter is nearing its end (hope those finals went well, Bruins!) which means that it’s time to renew your public transit passes for winter. Get your renewal in now for a seamless transition back to campus in 2013.
Winter passes are effective starting January 2, 2013 and are currently on sale at our website. Fall quarter passes will end on December 16th for students and December 23th for employees. If you plan on riding Metro to campus between then and January 2, we are offering 7-day passes at half price ($10 instead of $20). Discounted 7-day passes can be purchased from the Central Ticket Office (CTO) now through December 21.
BruinGO! Flash Passes
As we previously covered, BruinGO! Flash Passes for winter quarter are currently available. We encourage you to get your pass as soon as possible as those purchased after Wednesday, December 19th will not be available for pickup (or sent by mail) until after 1 p.m. on January 2, 2013. Go to our website to get yours now.
UCLA LADOT riders may purchase their passes from CTO starting Thursday, December 20.
Antelope Valley Transit Authority (AVTA)
Due to the timing of winter campus closure, monthly passes for January will not go on sale at CTO until Wednesday, January 2. Since AVTA riders will not have the opportunity to purchase their passes before the beginning of the month, UCLA customers will be able to ride AVTA for free on the morning of January 2 (you must show your UCLA ID to driver). Customers are expected to purchase their AVTA pass during the day at CTO, then use their new pass for their return trip that evening.
