The Expo Line’s Culver City station is now open. Customers can now ride the Expo Line from Downtown LA to Culver City, a distance of nearly eight miles, in approximately 25 minutes.

At the Culver City station, Expo riders can connect to the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus Line 12 (UCLA Hilgard Terminal) or Super 12 (UCLA Ackerman Terminal).

The Expo Line also connects to several Metro Rapid lines:

  • 705 (La Cienega, Vernon)
  • 710 (Crenshaw),
  • 757 (Western) and
  • 754 (Vermont).

UCLA employees and students can purchase both a Metro pass and a BruinGo Flash Pass in the same quarter, allowing them to ride the Expo Line, the BBB 12 and connecting Metro bus service, all at a subsidized rate. For Summer Quarter, Flash Passes cost $33 and Metro passes cost $112.50 (employees) or $54 (students).

Expo’s Phase Two, which will extend the line from Culver City to Santa Monica, is scheduled to open in 2016.
