LA/2B released a few more maps that use census data to see what kind of commute modes are favored by various LA neighborhoods. The maps look at those who take public transit, bicycle, walk and drive. Click on the image to the left for details.
There’s a high concentration of pedestrian commuters nearby UCLA (Go Bruins!). In fact, Westwood has the highest concentration of those who walk for their commutes at 29.08%. Bicyclists are strong in Sawtelle and West LA. Automobile commuters are most common in the Valley and public transit users are concentrated in Central LA.
