CicLAvia returns this Sunday, Oct. 5, to the Heart of LA from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. The Heart of LA route spans from Echo Park to East Los Angeles, and crosses through iconic parts of Downtown from Chinatown, to the Historic Broadway Theater District. The route will feature a pedestrian zone in the Broadway Theater District, a kids zone at the East LA Civic Center and will cross paths with the Festival of Philippine Arts & Culture, which is being held in Grand Park.
CicLAvias bring communities together and re-define public space. CicLAvias close the streets to motor-vehicle traffic, creating a space for pedestrians, cyclists and families to rediscover their city.
CicLAvias are typically held near mass transit hubs, making them accessible to the public. If you're interested in riding with a group of cyclists to CicLAvia, checkout the feeder rides organized from different parts of the City. Nancy Laemmle if organizing a feeder rider from Century City. Contact Nancy directly - firstname.lastname@example.org - if you're interested in joining.
If you would like to drive to CicLAvia, you can reserve a parking space through Parkme here.
