City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) has begun an analysis of all of its transit services, including Commuter Express routes, to respond to the significant budget shortfall facing its transit services program. Their focus is on under-performing routes with low ridership and services duplicated by other agencies.

LADOT will likely be reducing or eliminating service to where it may not be needed. If you ride their Commuter Express Line 573 from the San Fernando Valley or Line 534 out of Union Station in downtown L.A. (or have friends, family or roommates who use LADOT transit services, like Commuter Express or DASH shuttles), you can give your suggestions and input at, or by mail to: LADOT, 201 N. Los Angeles Street, Space #18B, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
