Upon opening, the ARTIC is estimated to support 10,330 daily riders on 10 different transportation modes.

The Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) will hold its Grand Opening Celebration Saturday, Dec. 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Located between the Honda Center and the Angel’s Stadium of Anaheim, the transportation facility will serve the three million residents of Orange County as well as the 40 million annual Orange County visitors.

ARTIC will supply information and services on five modes of transportation; rail, bus, taxi, biking as well as park and ride services. The community is welcomed to “Explore ARTIC” at its Grand Opening Celebration. Those in attendance will enjoy food, music, activities, tours and giveaways at the family-friendly event.

OCTA, the Orange County Wheelmen and TheBOBies will be holding a group bicycle ride to the grand opening on Dec. 13. Riders of all skill levels are welcome to join the group ride along the Santa Ana Trail to the iconic ARTIC facility. Riders will assemble at 8 a.m. and leave at 8:30 a.m. from the Yorba Regional Park and Atlanta Street in Huntington Beach for a 10-mile ride.

On opening day, ARTIC services will include Metrolink, Amtrak, OCTA bus, Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART), Coach USA, Greyhound, shuttles, taxis, bikes, and tour and charter buses. Amenities will include transit oriented retail, unique dining establishments, Wi-Fi and plug in stations, plenty of parking, bike racks and lockers, as well as community space for the public to enjoy.
