Submit your local bike projects to America Bikes. Bicycle advocates throughout the country have formed America Bikes in order to work with Congress to dedicate funding for bicycle and pedestrian projects through the Federal Transportation Bill, as well as push Congress for the adoption of the 2009 Complete Streets Act. Complete Streets are designed so that roadways are safe, comfortable,  and accessible by all users: pedestrians, motorists, bicyclists, and public transit users of all ages and abilities.

America Bikes recently launched their Next Mile database. The Next Mile database allows users to compile a list of local bicycle and pedestrian projects they want to see built. The database can then be used by each community's respective officials in order to show the demand for federal funding to support the various projects.
