The Cool Globes are here in Los Angeles!  I had a chance a few months ago to check them out while they were at Balboa Park in San Diego and they were pretty cool to look at and figure out what 'solution' each of them were suggesting to help fight global warming.  I couldn't help but think how awesome it would have been if UCLA Transportation could have sponsored of the globes.  I obviously missed the boat on that as the exhibit is already up and running as of April 22.  I haven't had a chance to check out the Los Angeles exhibit yet but I'm sure they are equally impressive, especially being placed in the midst of the beautiful Rose Garden in Exposition Park.  And in case you were wondering how to get to Exposition Park from UCLA via public transit, you take Metro #20 or Metro #305 and transfer to Metro #550 to 39th St/Figueroa St. (more details at
