Kids in the Courtyard: Dress up Mom in Your Love

How about celebrating Mother's Day at the Fowler Museum at UCLA? The Fowler Museum will feature Resplendent Dress from Southeastern Europe: A History in Layers from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. and will unveil the way generations of mothers shared textile traditions with their children, followed up with a fun decorating session of reusable bags. Your mother will surely appreciate a hand-made gift from you! Stay after 3 p.m. for a special Mother's Day live performance by the Zhena Folk Chorus. (Zhena means “woman” or “’wife” in Slavic languages.) Come celebrate with your children and mother with free music and dancing.

Happy Mother's Day!
